Ballast Dry Brush
Body brushing is excellent for your skin, circulation, lymphatic drainage, inflammation. Talk about benefits! Not to mention, exfoliation!
This gentle practice is best enjoyed just before bath or shower. Gentle soft strokes toward the heart for five to twenty minutes is best.
Start at your feet and brush upwards with slow strokes towards the heart. Gently brush front and back of legs in slow upward motions. Using your right hand, begin brushing your left forearm toward the upper arm on all sides. If you like, continue with gentle clockwise strokes around your belly to finish.
Please do not use the dry brush on face or back. Skin should never be red or scratched from this ritual.
